3 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
4 dried red chillies, chopped
2 stalks curry leaves
2 onions, chopped
5 cm ginger, pounded
2 green chillies, chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp pepper
450g cabbage, finely chopped
300g carrots, finely chopped
150g fresh or frozen grated coconut
Heat 4 tbls coconut oil and sizzle mustard seeds,
cumin seeds and dried chillies.
Add curry leaves, onions, ginger, green chillies,
turmeric pepper and salt – fry until soft.
Add cabbage and carrots – mix well then cover and
cook gently 5 minutes.
Add coconut and stir until well incorporated and dry.
