Gaeng Som (sour fish curry)

350g ocean fish cutlets or chunks
6 cloves garlic
1 finger fresh turmeric
1 shallot
6-10 birds eye chillies
1 tsp gapi
250g green papaya, sliced
1/4 pineapple, sliced
1 tbls palm sugar
juice of 1/2 lime

Puree together garlic,turmeric, shallot and
chillies according to your taste with 1/3 cup water.
Heat 500ml water with pureed paste and gapi.
Add green papaya slices and bring to boil.
Add fish and simmer 5 minutes without stirring.
Add pineapple, sugar and salt – simmer 2 minutes.
Add lime juice.
